The Guild offers regular classes in Watercolor and Pastel. Please call Bivenne Staiger at 860-632-7334 for Watercolor classes and Ellie Bender at 203-237-5224 for Pastel classes.

All classes are $75 for members and $85 for non-members. Class size is limited. Enrollment is on a 1st-come, 1st-served basis. All classes will be six week blocks (with the exception of the Wednesday ongoing pastel classes taught by Ellie Bender.) A minimum of 5 students are needed for each class.

Unless otherwise noted, all classes are held at Middlefield Federated Church Education Building, 390 Main Street, Middlefield, CT.

Winter session dates:
January 12 - February 16, 2010
Spring session dates:
March 16 - April 20, 2010
Limit: 13 students

Bivenne will show her class how to produce strong, vibrant watercolors using favorite techniques of     the medium. Emphasis in winter classes will be on winter themes such as snow scenes and animal life. Spring classes will focus on florals and spring landscapes, while fall classes focus on autumnal themes. Students are welcome to bring their own reference material and the instructor will guide them. There will be many helpful suggestions and tips on technique given by the instructor. Students should bring 140 lb. Arches cold press paper and their paints and brushes.
